The pickup time is between 6:00 and 7:00 AM and at this time we are starting to move from Sharm el-Sheikh. The way time takes around 2.5 hours and the destination is 210 km.

Drive through the Sinai mountain range, past Dahab & Nuweiba onto the beautiful coastal road that few visitors have a chance to see while on other excursions in the Sinai Peninsula.

On the distance around 75 km from Sharm el-Sheikh, we will get the rest for 10-15 minutes, you can take your breakfast and use the restroom.

Between 10:30 and 11:30 we arrive at a traditional Bedouin camp for tea and a briefing on what will take place on our day of adventure. Driving on into the desert, we take in the first panoramic view of The Lost Land. This spectacular rock formation closely resembles another famous large rock foundation-the Grand Canyon in the U.S! There are more stunning views here, including the prehistoric lava that flows from a clifftop standing at 1800m above sea level and clear views across to Israel, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia.

The next stop is the Canyon walks; three of the most untouched canyons in all of Sinai and named the Coral, Caramel, and Chocolate canyons after the unique colors of the Sand and stone in each. Guests will have lots of fun as they wiggle, squeeze, duck, and weave through each canyon lined with fine white powdery sand, followed by wondrous rock and coral formations dating back 35 million years.

Some of the canyons can be quite narrow at times so we would advise anyone who does not feel comfortable spending any brief time in a confined space to take the option of not participating in this short part of the excursion. They will not miss out as they can stay outside of the canyon area but still see the amazing formations and meet up with the group as they come out of the canyon area.

Back into the Jeep for an exciting desert drive taking in dunes and breathtaking views. You will marvel at the skill with which your local Bedouin driver navigates this rugged and unsharpened land.

Back to the Bedouin camp for a refreshing tea stop followed by a ramble through the rocks to explore an underground tunnel leading out onto steep sandy slopes to slide and ski down to your heart’s content!

We will then arrive at some mysterious rock carvings dating back 2000 years, said to be the faces of Cleopatra and Marc Anthony carved by the Romans.

The canyon trip we are finishing between 2:00 and 3:00. A final drive through the desert takes you back to Taba, starts the second part of the trip, the sea trip for 1.5 or 2 hours! The way on this yacht laying around the Pharaoh Island with his famous castle with the view of four countries; Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Saudi Arabia.

The swimming is 35 minutes from the board of the yacht and the lunch will be on the board with fantastic views of the ancient Saladin Castle set on its own island.

The sea trip is finishing maximum at 5:00 pm. And arrival to Sharm el-sheik between 7:00 and 8:00 pm.

Our excursion winds down as we drive back along the coastal road with spectacular views across to Saudi Arabia and Jordan. Depending on the time of year, our drive through the Sinai mountains may also be during sunset time, giving guests the chance to witness the changing colors of the mountains to various hues of red in the fading light.
